I’m Annie, a curtain maker in Nedlands. I trained in Southampton, England, working on heritage houses and museums, and I’ve been making curtains in Perth for over thirty years. This is where I write about the trade: the things that come up in the workroom, the questions clients ask, and the occasional tangent that doesn’t belong on a business website.

Consult
When you make contact with our Perth curtain shop, we can generally come and visit you within the week.
Meeting at your location allows us to do accurate measurements and consult deeply on your desired purpose, look and functionality.
However you are welcome to come to our Perth curtain shop which will allow you to view one of the largest range of curtain fabrics in Perth.
Quote
We can have a quote to you within a few days.
A significant component of the cost of window dressings is the type of fabric you have selected.
There are always ways to reduce the quote by reviewing the fabric, the hardware and any motorisation. So sometimes there is some back and forth before you get the right product at the right price.
Order
Once you are satisfied with the quote, you place a deposit and we order the fabrics on the same day - this is important because sometimes suppliers discontinue or run out of fabrics.
It can take up to a month for fabrics to arrive, however we will keep you informed on timeframes.
Manufacture
With an eye on detail, we manufacture the curtain and blinds in the workroom at our Perth curtain shop. We try to complete the curtains and blinds within two weeks of receiving the fabric.
Install
Our curtain store has a team of experienced installers who will professionally install the window dressings. They also have deep experience with motorised curtains and blinds.
Follow-up
A week after installation our curtain shop will follow-up with you to check your satisfaction, rectify any issues, provide some maintenance tips and request a Google review.
